Get your toes tapping at Burnbrae Wines
Did you know that Burnbrae Wines cellar door used to be a Dance Hall? The minute you enter it feels like you have just stepped back in time and if you listen closely you will hear the corks popping and the shoes tapping on the old wooden floor!
The winery is one of the oldest in Mudgee making wine from 1971 in an open-aired winery under the peppercorn trees that still shade the grounds today. 'Burnbrae' is Scottish for 'Brook at the foot of the hills' and each of their wines has its own unique label with a story which is related to Burnbrae's surroundings or connections. Twinkle Toes Cuvée
is a fresh crisp sparkling wine and is balanced with citrus and hazelnut tones and celebrates the dance hall memory.
There is plenty to love about Burnbrae, from their delicious antipasto boards which include homemade local and seasonal produce every day of the week to the peaceful ambience of their garden and surroundings. They even have their own lager beer which goes down well with their Italian style pizzas on a Sunday.
The Mudgee Hopper Erudgere Route includes Burnbrae Wines and is a must see stop. Taste a Pinot Noir, Sparkling wine, a Moscato or a Pinot Gris, there is sure to be something you will love.
